Composed of an iron-based electrolyte, salt and water, the technology developed by ESS, Inc. called ESS Energy Warehouse™, is manufactured in a sturdy ISO container, can be shipped pre-assembled and installed anywhere.
Our iron redox flow batteries streamline installation and start-up for our customers as they do not require thermal conditioning up to 60°C or fire suppression systems. They are truly safe and have low maintenance costs.
The ESS Energy Warehouse™ is ideal for long-term use (over 3 continuous hours) for over 20,000 cycles with 80% depth of discharge and a service life of over 20 years.
